📄 CrewQuest Terms of Service

By purchasing any product from the CrewQuest Store, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

🌍 Before You Buy

We encourage every player to play CrewQuest first before deciding to purchase Gems.

Take some time to explore the server, learn the mechanics, and browse the /premiumshop or the Premium Shop NPC at spawn. This will help you understand what is available, what you actually want, and how many Gems you'll need.

Many premium features are integrated into the game's progression systems. For example, purchasing a mount does not automatically allow you to ride it—you must still unlock the required riding training using in-game currency. Likewise, many premium items can also be earned naturally through gameplay.

Please make informed purchases. Understanding the server first will help you get the most value from your Gems.

👨‍👩‍👧 Minors & Parental Permission

If you are under 18 years old, please ask your parent or legal guardian for permission before making any purchase from the CrewQuest Store.

Never use a parent, guardian, family member, or another person's payment method without their knowledge and permission.

By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method used for that transaction.

💎 What Are Gems?

Gems are CrewQuest's premium currency.

  • Gems are shared across all CrewQuest gamemodes.

  • Gems themselves cannot be traded between players.

  • Gems can be spent in /premiumshop or at the Premium Shop NPC in each gamemode.

Please note that items purchased with Gems are not shared between gamemodes. Premium purchases only apply to the gamemode where they are redeemed unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Many purchased items can be traded with other players after purchase.

Some unlocks, such as activated mounts or other account-bound rewards, become permanently linked to your Minecraft account and cannot be transferred once activated.

💰 Virtual Currency & Real-World Value

Gems and other virtual items available through CrewQuest exist only within the CrewQuest network.

Gems have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or withdrawn for cash.

Purchasing Gems does not give you ownership of the currency, server content, plugins, models, artwork, systems, or other CrewQuest assets.

Virtual currency and virtual items are intended solely for use within CrewQuest.

🎮 Premium Shop

CrewQuest's Premium Shop is designed to complement normal gameplay—not replace it.

Many rewards available in the Premium Shop can also be earned through playing the server.

For example:

  • Mounts can also be obtained using in-game Tokens earned through normal gameplay.

  • Some premium features still require normal game progression before they can be used.

Premium purchases are intended to provide additional options and convenience while respecting the game's progression systems.

🗳 Free Ways to Earn Gems

Supporting CrewQuest financially is completely optional.

Players can also earn Gems through gameplay, including rewards such as Vote Crates and other future events or activities.

Even if you never spend real money, there will still be opportunities to obtain Gems.

❤️ Spending Responsibly

Please only purchase Gems if you genuinely have money available after taking care of your real-life responsibilities.

Food, housing, bills, education, transportation, family, savings, and other important expenses should always come before supporting CrewQuest.

We are incredibly grateful for every purchase, but we would much rather you remain financially comfortable than spend money you cannot comfortably afford.

Please never feel pressured to support the server financially.

CrewQuest is designed to remain online regardless of whether you decide to make a purchase. Supporting the server is appreciated, but it is never expected.

⚖️ Non-Pay-to-Win Philosophy

CrewQuest is committed to remaining non-pay-to-win.

Our goal is to provide premium content without creating unfair advantages over other players.

Premium purchases are designed to offer cosmetics, convenience, optional content, and account progression that fits naturally within the game—not shortcuts that invalidate normal gameplay.

Where progression systems exist, premium purchases are designed to work alongside those systems rather than bypass them.

💳 Payments & Refunds

All products sold through CrewQuest are digital virtual goods.

Because our products are digital virtual goods that may be delivered immediately, refund eligibility may be limited once delivery has begun.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that you are legally entitled to under applicable law.

If you accidentally purchase the wrong package, experience a payment issue, or believe something has gone wrong with your purchase, please contact us. We will always do our best to resolve the situation fairly.

If you believe a payment was made without authorization, please contact us as soon as possible so the situation can be investigated.

Fraudulent purchases, payment fraud, or abusive or unauthorized chargebacks may result in suspension of the associated CrewQuest account while the matter is investigated or until the issue has been resolved.

🚚 Delivery

Purchases are normally processed automatically.

You do not need to be online when making a purchase.

If you are offline, your purchase will be securely queued and automatically delivered the next time you join the server.

When your purchase is delivered, CrewQuest may broadcast a thank-you message to the server recognizing your support.

If your purchase does not arrive after logging in, please contact us through Discord or ask a staff member in-game.

🔐 Account Responsibility

Players are responsible for ensuring that the correct Minecraft username/account is used when making or redeeming a purchase.

Please carefully check your account information before completing an order.

CrewQuest cannot guarantee that purchases made for the wrong account due to incorrectly entered information can be transferred or recovered. However, we will make reasonable efforts to help where possible.

You are also responsible for maintaining access to and security of your Minecraft account.

📜 Server Rules Still Apply

Supporting CrewQuest does not exempt anyone from the server rules.

Every player is treated equally regardless of whether they have purchased Gems.

Players who purchase premium content are expected to follow exactly the same rules as everyone else.

Rule violations—including cheating, exploiting, scamming, harassment, abuse, or any other punishable behavior—will receive the same consequences regardless of purchase history.

Purchasing Gems does not grant immunity from moderation decisions.

🔨 Suspensions & Bans

Purchasing Gems, premium content, or otherwise financially supporting CrewQuest does not guarantee continued access to the server.

If an account is temporarily suspended or permanently banned for violating CrewQuest's rules, access to Gems, premium items, mounts, cosmetics, or other content associated with that account may also be temporarily or permanently lost.

A suspension or ban resulting from a violation of the server rules does not automatically entitle the player to a refund for previous purchases.

Purchasing something from CrewQuest does not influence moderation decisions or provide preferential treatment.

🔄 Changes to Premium Content

CrewQuest is continuously developed and updated.

Game mechanics, balancing, Premium Shop content, prices, features, rewards, progression requirements, and other aspects of the server may change over time.

CrewQuest may modify, rebalance, replace, or discontinue virtual items or features when reasonably necessary for game balancing, technical compatibility, server development, security, or the overall health of the game.

Where reasonably possible, we will avoid making changes that unfairly remove the value of existing purchases.

Purchasing an item does not guarantee that its mechanics, statistics, appearance, availability, or functionality will remain permanently unchanged.

🖥️ Server Availability

Our goal is to operate and develop CrewQuest for the long term. However, uninterrupted or permanent availability of the server cannot be guaranteed.

Maintenance, updates, technical problems, security incidents, third-party service failures, hosting problems, network outages, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may temporarily prevent access to CrewQuest or purchased content.

If CrewQuest were ever permanently discontinued, previous purchases would not guarantee continued access to the server, Gems, or other virtual content.

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the server and minimize unnecessary downtime.

🌍 Our Vision

CrewQuest is built around long-term progression.

Rather than relying on frequent resets, we carefully design systems that can continue expanding over time while preserving player progress whenever reasonably possible.

Our goal is to build a server that players can confidently invest their time into for years.

While preserving player progress is an important goal, technical issues, major Minecraft updates, balancing requirements, exploits, corrupted data, or other exceptional circumstances may occasionally require changes to existing progress or content.

❤️ Transparency

CrewQuest exists because we enjoy creating a place where people can have fun together.

Revenue from the store helps cover expenses such as hosting, premium plugins, custom models, artwork, development, infrastructure, and future improvements.

If the server eventually becomes self-sustaining, it simply allows us to spend more time developing CrewQuest instead of less time because of outside work.

Our priority has never been maximizing revenue.

Our priority is building a server people genuinely enjoy playing.

📄 Changes to These Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated as CrewQuest continues to develop.

Changes may be made to reflect new features, store products, server systems, legal requirements, or changes to how CrewQuest operates.

The most recent version of these Terms will be made available through the CrewQuest Store.

Continued use of the CrewQuest Store after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the most recent version of these Terms, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
